Sunday after lunch brew. Trying this house blend w Sunday after lunch brew. Trying this house blend with a blend of Costa Rica, Colombia and Brazil origin beans. Costa Rican coffee is wash processed, while both Colombian and Brazilian are dry processed.

The fruity aroma really satisfy my smell receptors. The taste of this brew is a bit sweet. Almost as sweet as honey. Almost. The brew leave a butter 🧈 traces to my tongue and throat. The aftertaste is really interesting and I quite like it.

Today’s brew is quite interesting. I fell in lov Today’s brew is quite interesting. I fell in love with the beans by this brand (brand with coffee in a canister) because of this blend. I love the strong taste of the espresso.

However, as I evolve to pour over method, I tried some blends from multiple brands. I even tried different blends from this brand. Grinding these blends gives me the addiction of grinding my beans (manual grind of course). The resistance and feedback is really satisfying.

Last weekend, I bought the blend that makes me fall in love with this blend. The first impression while grinding the beans is really surprising. There is no resistance and feedback from the beans. It’s really smooth. I don’t feel the satisfaction of grinding my coffee beans.

I tried to brew using the 4-6 method and control my brew so the brew is sweet but strong. It didn’t happened. The taste is too strong and I can’t find the sweetness in this brew. There is also some ground coffee left in the decanter.

My conclusion is this blend is not suitable for pour over method of brewing but it’s great for espresso. When brewing this blend in espresso, the crema is nice, rich and thick.

Sunday morning ride. Niat asal nak tengok trek bar Sunday morning ride. Niat asal nak tengok trek baru di sepanjang Sungai Langat. Tapi hujan semalam bagi kesan tanah jadi lembut yang menyukarkan kayuhan. Masa nak pergi tu dah 2 orang cakap, jalan tak cantik, tapi sebab nak tengok jugak kannnn. 

Akhirnya ride balik kampung ke Seksyen 3 jumpa Atuk & Nenek. Macam² dugaan sepanjang jalan, Alhamdulillah selamat tiba di destinasi.
